PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Volleyball team lost in 4-sets in Stevens Point on Saturday.
The Pioneers lost 25-16, 12-25, 25-16, 25-17 to the Pointers.
After losing the first set, the Pioneers won their first conference set of the year in the 25-12 second set win. As a team, the Pioneers hit .448 in the second set which was the best
Grace Austin and Madie Sailors led the back-row defensive effort with 16 digs each. On the offensive side of the ball, Kaite Asche led the team in efficiency with 11 kills and .269 hitting percentage. Olivia Kudronowicz led the team with 12 kills while adding nine digs.
UW-Platteville hosts Simpson on Tuesday at 7:00 PM on Bo Ryan court for the annual "Yell Night".
