The University of Wisconsin- Platteville volleyball team lost to Loras 3-1 in Dubuque on Wednesday night. The Pioneers won the first set but ultimately lost 17-25, 25-17, 25-13, 25-11.
Kaite Asche led the way offensively with 6 kills and a .286 hitting percentage. Madie Sailors led the team with 16 digs.
The Pioneers fell to 2-3 on the season while Loras improved to 5-0.
UW-Platteville heads to Milwaukee to play in the MSOE Invitational this weekend. Friday matches include Benedictine at 5 pm and Alverno at 7 pm and Saturday matches are Caltech at 12 pm and MSOE at 4 pm.
