The University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team won its first four matches for the first time since 2004, as the Pioneers made a successful season debut at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team won its first four matches for the first time since 2004, as the Pioneers made a successful season debut at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The weekend tournament also marked the debut of Samantha Birkicht as the head coach, and she guided the Pioneers to the perfect start.
UW-Platteville beat Westminster, Missouri, 3-1 and Northland 3-0 on Friday, then turned back St. Norbert 3-2 before beating the host Kohawks 3-1 Saturday.
Indvidual statistics are not immediately available, but will be posted on the letsgopioneers.com website when ready.
The Pioneers make their home debut Wednesday against interstate rival Loras at 7 p.m.
