MADISON, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team lost to the Edgewood College Eagles in three sets 14-25, 21-25, and 21-25 on Wednesday at Edgewood College in Madison.
Freshman setter Alyssa Wawrzyniakowski recorded 13 assists for the Pioneers. Junior outside hitter Allison Jensen and senior outside hitter Amber Williams each logged 7 kills.
The Pioneers, 6-14 on the year, return to action on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at noon at Williams Fieldhouse against UW-River Falls and UW-Stout, respectively. Friday's match will benefit the American Cancer Society.
