DUBUQUE, Iowa. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team lost to the Loras College Duhawks 15-25, 17-25, and 24-26 on Wednesday at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.
Sophomore setter Grace Austin recorded 17 digs for the Pioneers. Meanwhile, freshman setter Alyssa Wawrzyniakowski logged 14 assists followed by junior setter Allie Carter with 13.
The Pioneers make their 2016 home debut Friday, Sept. 9 against the University of Dubuque at the UW-Platteville Tournament at Williams Fieldhouse at 4 p.m. The Pioneers have four matches over two days in their home tournament.
