The University of
Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team won both of its matches on
Friday on the
first day of the Barker Classic II hosted by Illinois Wesleyan
University.
The Pioneers started the day with a straight set win over Culver
Stockton, 25-15, 25-20 and 25-12. To wrap up the day,
UW-Platteville defeated host Illinois Wesleyan, 25-20, 25-17,
22-25, 25-16.
With the two wins, the Pioneers improve to 12-6 on the 2011
season.
