Pioneers edged 1-0 in overtime by Blue Devils
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. ? The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women?s soccer team fell 1-0 in overtime to the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Saturday night in Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's soccer team fell 1-0 in overtime to the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Saturday night in Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
The Pioneers (1-12-2, 0-3-1 WIAC) controlled much of the game over the Blue Devils (4-10-0, 1-3-0 WIAC) outshooting UW-Stout 17-4.
Ten of the Pioneers shots were on goal while three were on frame for the Blue devils. The Pioneers tallied seven shots in the first half and came out even stronger in the second half to add another ten shots to their slate.
Sophomore Kylee Colwell recorded five shots with four on goal while teammate and sophomore Hailee Sanford accounted for seven shots with three on goal. The Pioneers were edged by UW-Stout in the 98th minute when Rachel Washington connected with Sammy Krugel for the game winning goal.
UW-Stout's Claudia Anderson recorded 10 saves while junior Kathryn Flaherty tallied two in just over 98 minutes.
The Pioneers will hit the road on Wednesday, Oct. 23 when they continue WIAC play at UW-Whitewater at 7 p.m. at Fiskum Field.
