PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's soccer team concluded Sunday afternoon's game in a scoreless tie with Simpson College in Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
The Pioneers (0-3-1) and Storm (2-0-1) battled it out for a full 110 minutes where the Storm held just a slight 9-7 shot advantage on the day.
Sophomore Hailee Sanford led the Pioneers with a team high three shots.
Junior Kathryn Flaherty recorded seven saves in all 110 minutes while her counterpart Rachel Neumann tallied three saves in the complete game.
The Pioneers hit the road next and travel to Augustana College for the non-conference game at 7 p.m. on Thorson-Lucken Field.
