Pioneers lose tight contest with Stout
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Pioneers were defeated by the University of Wisconsin-Stout 1-0 on Saturday, Oct. 21 at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Pioneers were defeated by the University of Wisconsin-Stout 1-0 on Saturday, Oct. 21 at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
Stout had seven shots on goal while the Pioneers had four. The Pioneers' goalie, Alyssa Sickler, blocked six of the seven goals Stout shot at her. The Blue Devils' Kaitlyn Hess scored the lone goal in the 71st minute and the Pioneers were unable to convert on several scoring opportunities late in the game.
Records for the teams now read Pioneers 7-9, Stout 7-5-5.
The Pioneers return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at 7p.m.
