PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Pioneers beat Crown 5-0 on Saturday Sept. 16 at St. Bonifacius, Minnesota.
Ashley Peck was the leading scorer for the Pioneers with two consecutive goals only 9 seconds apart early in the second half with the second goal being assisted by Freshmen Bren Henninger. Last week's WIAC offensive player of the week Anna Sobal started the scoring in the 22nd minute with her conference leading seventh goal of the season. Kirsten Semenchuk, and Talor Gamble also scored second-half goals.
Platteville had 53 shots while Crown had zero.
The Pioneers return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 20 at Coe College at 7 p.m.
