PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Pioneers knocked off Alverno College 5-0 on Thursday Sept. 14 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Pioneers knocked off Alverno College 5-0 on Thursday Sept. 14 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Amber Lueder made two goals in the first half, one unassisted and one assisted by Anna Sobal. Sobal scored one unassisted goal in each half which brought the score to 4-0. From just over the mid-way line Katie Baierl made the fifth and final unassisted goal.
Not only were the Pioneers the only one scoring goals but they also had 32 shots while the Blaze had five. This win has brought the Pioneers record to 3-2 and the Blaze's 1-4.
The Pioneers return to action on Saturday, Sept. 16 at Crown College at 9 a.m.
