PLATTEVILLE, Wis.- The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Pioneers fell short against Knox, 2-0 on Wednesday, Sept. 6 at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
Alyssa Sickler, the Pioneers' goal keeper was able to save 7 of the 9 shots at goal taken by the Prairie Fire. Knox scored in each period. The Pioneers had three shots on goal, but were denied each time.
The Pioneers will return to action Saturday, Sept. 9 at 11 a.m. at Beloit College.
