Pioneers drop road game vs. UW-Stout

MENOMONIE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's soccer team lost 2-0 to the UW-Stout Blue Devils on the road in Menomonie, Wisconsin. The loss drops UW-Platteville to 6-10 on the season and 1-5 in WIAC conference games.
The Blue Devils scored midway through the first half, with Ryanne Millis scoring her fourth goal of the season at the 22:44 mark. Bethany Hennen assisted on the goal, which came after a long shot by Millis. This was the only scoring of the first half, and the teams entered half time with the score at 1-0.
Twenty-one minutes into the second half the Blue Devils struck again, with Kelly Con scoring off a Sydney Kasper assist. This was the last goal of the game, and the game ended 2-0. The Pioneers managed 7 shots, with 3 on goal, and held the Blue Devils to 10 shots, and 4 on goal. The victory moves the Blue devils to 6-8-1 on the year.
The Pioneers will play its final home game against Edgewood on Wednesday Oct. 26 at 5 p.m. The Edgewood Eagles are 12-4 on the season and 8-2 in NACC conference play.
