PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's soccer team lost 1-0 to the Titans of UW-Oshkosh at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium. The loss drops the Pioneers 4-8 on the season, and 0-3 in conference.
The Titans and Pioneers were evenly matched throughout the game, with UW-Platteville registering 4 shots on goal and UW-Oshkosh taking 5. The Titans were able to get on the board with a Robyn Elliot goal 31 minutes into the first half. This wound up being the game winning goal as the Pioneers were unable to score in the game. The victory moves UW-Oshkosh to 7-5-1 on the season.
The Pioneers return to action on Tuesday Oct. 11 at 5:30 p.m. on the road against Buena Vista University. Buena Vista is 3-8-1 on the season.
