PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's soccer team lost 2-1 to the Monmouth Fighting Scots Saturday at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium. The loss brings UW-Platteville's record to 4-2 on the season.
The game began as a defensive struggle as neither team was able to get an advantage early. The defenses of both teams were able to prevent any scoring opportunities, as Monmouth registered only 4 shots on goal in the first half, and UW-Platteville had only 1.
