PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's soccer team lost to the Simpson College Storm 3-2 on Sunday at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
After falling 2-0 in the first half, the Pioneers fought back with a goal from junior Emily Phillips.
With the Storm racking up another goal late in the second half, junior Yamilex Jaramillo responded with her sixth goal of the season with less than a minute left in the game.
Junior Pioneers Katie Rash and Amanda Taylor split the game protecting the net.
The Pioneers return to action on Saturday, Sept. 19 with their first conference game at UW-Oshkosh at 11 a.m.
