Winther named WIAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

MADISON, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville's Katelyn Winther was named Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, by the league office on Wednesday.
The sophomore from Sobieski, Wisconsin, scored both of the Pioneers' goals in their 2-1 season opening win over Cornell College (Iowa) on Aug. 31.
Winther and the Pioneers travel to Principia on Saturday then to Fontbonne on Sunday.
