Sarah Eck had her second multi-goal game of the season en route to leading the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's soccer team to a 4-1 win over St. Norbert on Saturday.
UW-Platteville (4-2) built a 1-0 advantage on a Katie Viney goal in the first half. The Pioneers held a 1-0 lead until St. Norbert tied the contest in the 57th minute when Katherine Larson scored.
The Pioneers answered with goals by Eck in the 61st and 65th minute to build a 3-1 lead and Corey Daehling closed out the scoring when she found the back of the net in the 87th minute. UW-Platteville recorded a 14 to 11 advantage in shots and goalkeeper Molly Bender made six saves for the Pioneers.
The Pioneers are back in action on Sunday, Sept. 18, when they host Nebraska Wesleyan at noon at Pioneer Stadium.
