Titans Takedown Pioneers, 30-12

OSHKOSH, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville wrestling team fell to UW-Oshokosh, 30-12, on Friday night in Kolf Sports Center. 

The Pioneers (3-7, 1-4 WIAC) were led by 174-pound junior Austin Holland, who pinned Ben Frieler at the 2:53 mark. Senior Abe Granziano and freshman Cole Ferguson earned UW-Platteville's final two victories. Graziano defeated Tyler Wetenkamp, 5-2, while Ferguson opened the conference dual with a 4-3 victory over Parker Peterson.

The Pioneers have a quick turnaround as they travel to Sheboygan, Wis. on Saturday for a dual with MSOE and host Lakeland College at noon.
