Women’s Golf finishes second at Clarke Invitational
GALENA, Ill. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's golf team finished second of six teams at the Clarke Invitational. The Pioneers finished a round of 18 with a team score of 365 at the Eagle Ridge Golf Course.
GALENA, Ill. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's golf team finished second of six teams at the Clarke Invitational. The Pioneers finished a round of 18 with a team score of 365 at the Eagle Ridge Golf Course.
Senior Josie Alm paced the team with a round of 86 and finished 3rd overall. Sophomore Madison Berg followed with 91 strokes to finish 6th. The remaining five included junior Emma Cage who shot 93 for 11th place, sophomore Taylor Swalve who added 95 and tied for 12th and freshman Danielle Bruecker who finished with 104 to tie for 21st.
Two Pioneers also competed as individuals on Tuesday. Junior Jada Change shot 95 tying for 12th and junior Nicole Sedam finished the day with 96 strokes and tied for 15th.
The Pioneers will return to action this weekend when they travel to the UW-Eau Claire Invite September 9-10.
