Pioneers win Clark Fall Invitational
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – This past weekend, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s golf team shot a two-round 718 to defeat St. Ambrose University, Viterbo University and Clarke University and win the Clark Fall Invitational at Galena, Illinois’ Eagle Ridge North Course.
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – This past weekend, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's golf team shot a two-round 718 to defeat St. Ambrose University, Viterbo University and Clarke University and win the Clark Fall Invitational at Galena, Illinois' Eagle Ridge North Course. Three Pioneers finished in the tournament's top 10.
Leading the Pioneers was senior Lindsay Neitzel with a two-day total of 175, low enough to finish third overall. Sophomore Alysse Elko wasn't far behind with a two-day total of 177, finishing tied for fourth overall. On day two, freshman Cortney Olson shot a personal tournament best 84, helping her finish in seventh place with a two-day total of 178.
