Women’s golf takes the crown at Viking Invitational
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s golf team traveled to Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois for its last spring tournament of the year. As a team, the women won the tournament out of six total teams at the invite.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. —The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's golf team traveled to Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois for its last spring tournament of the year. As a team, the women won the tournament out of six total teams at the invite.
Junior Wisconsin Intercollegaite Athletic Conference standout Stephanie Baribeau tied for second place overall out of 33 golfers with a score of 82 the final day of the tournament. Sophomore Lindsay Neitzel was close behind in ninth place with a second-day score of 86, while senior Taylor Egnarski finished her career with a score of 88 and 11th place overall.
Sophomore Lexi Graf, freshman Hannah Baker and sophomore Lauren Frances rounded out the Pioneers' scores with 92, 97 and 97, respectively.
