Golf opens up spring play at Illinois Wesleyan Invitational
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville golf team competed at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17 at Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Illinois.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. —The University of Wisconsin-Platteville golf team competed at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17 at Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Illinois.
As a team, the Pioneers placed 21st, while first team all-WIAC junior Stephanie Baribeau tied for 43rd out of 106 women, improving by one stroke the second day with an 81 to combine for her 163 total.
Sophomore Lindsay Neitzel finished with a score of 181 with senior Taylor Egnarski close behind at 182 on the weekend.
Sophomore Lauren Frances logged a 185 while freshman Hannah Baker rounded out the Pioneers with a score of 190.
The Pioneers return to spring golf action on Saturday, April 30 at the Augustana Viking Invitational in Rock Island, Illinois.
