Golf in 5th after Day 2 of WIAC Championship

NEKOOSA, Wis. -- The University of Wisconsin-Platteville golf team is in fifth-place after the second round of the WIAC Championship on Saturday at Lake Arrowhead Golf Course.
The Pioneers shot a 368 for a 36-hole total of 735 (+159), and are behind first-place UW-Stout, who widened its lead to 33 strokes from second-place.
Individually, Sydney Kilcoin shot an 82 on the second day to move up to 16th-place with a 178 (+34). Stephanie Baribeau posted a 90, totaling 179 (+35) through 36 holes. Taylor Egnarski is in 26th-place after recording a 100 on the second day (+46). Katie Gregorich has moved up to 32nd-place with a 195 (+51), while Rachel Hopkins has settled to 38th-place with a 200 (+56) after two rounds.
A conference champion will be crowned on Sunday for the final round of the WIAC Championship.
