Golf competes at Viterbo Invite
The UW-Platteville women’s golf team finished the first day of the Viterbo Invitational in sixth-place on Saturday at the La Cross Country Club.
LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's golf team finished the first day of the Viterbo Invitational in sixth-place on Saturday at the La Cross Country Club.
The Pioneers (+81) are just eight strokes back from fourth place, trailing AIB and WIAC foe UW-Oshkosh, who both shot +73 (361).
Individually, sophomore Stephanie Baribeau was the only Pioneer to shot under 90 with an 86 (+14) and is tied for seventh. Sydney Kilcoin carded a 92 (+20), while Taylor Egnarski was one shot back from her teammate and is 25th place. Lindsay Neitzel rounded out the Pioneers top-four with a 98 (+26) and is tied for 31st place.
The Pioneers will finish the two-day Viterbo Invitational on Sunday.
