Pioneer Golf begins 2014-15 season at Carthage

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. -- The University of Wisconsin-Platteville golf team opens its 2014-15 season at the Carthage College "Tournament on the Border" on Friday. 

The Pioneers return five letter winners, including top performers junior Taylor Egnarski and sophomores Stephanie Baribeau and Sydney Kilcoin. Egnarski and Kilcoin each tallied one top-10 finish and four top-20 performances. Egnarski's best came at the Duhawk Spring Invitational, where she finished tied for eighth. Kilcoin was the first freshman to shoot under 80 in a round in program history with a 78 (+11) at the final round of the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic. Baribeau's best round of 82 also came in the final round of the IWU Fall Classic.
