Golf tied for 19th after day one of IWU Fall Classic
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s golf team is currently tied for 19th out of 21 teams after the first day of the IWU Fall Classic on Saturday.
Normal, Ill. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's golf team is currently tied for 19th out of 21 teams after the first day of the IWU Fall Classic on Saturday.
William Woods JV leads after day-one carding a 304 (+16) while the Pioneers recorded a 363 (+75).
Individually, freshman Sydney Kilcoin led the Pioneers with an 80 to be +8 and tied for 26th. Fellow rookie Stephanie Baribeau carded an 84 (+12), good for tied for 51st. Junior Katie Gregorich is just two shots behind Baribeau and tied for 61st, while senior Stacy Heiling posted a 113 to be 111th-place.
The Pioneers will look to climb up the leaderboard on Sunday at the final of the IWU Fall Classic.
