Gregorich Leads Golf to 3rd place at Illinois College Invitational
The UW-Platteville women's golf team finished in third-place at the Illinois College Invitational on Sunday in Jacksonville, Ill.
JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's golf team finished in third-place at the Illinois College Invitational on Sunday in Jacksonville, Ill.
Indiana Tech won the event by 32 strokes with a total of 631 (+55), the Pioneers were 61 strokes back after carding 692 (+116).
Individually, UW-Platteville was led by junior Katie Gregorich, who is tied for 10th after a first-round of 83 and a final round of 85 for a total +24. Newcomer Stephanie Baribeau finished tied for 14th, just a two stroke back for Gregorich with a 170. Sophomore Taylor Egnarski posted a pair of 87 to be +30 and 18th-place, while freshman Sydney Kilcoin recorded a 90 in both rounds (+36), good for tied for 25th.
