UW-Platteville Takes Third at Carroll University Invite

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's golf team finished up the 2011-12 season with a third-place finish at the Carroll University Invite on Sunday.

The Pioneers posted a 359 to finish third behind UW-Whitewater and host Carroll. Leading UW-Platteville was Kellsey Welter, who finished tied for fourth an 82. Kelsey Lieving was ninth with an 87 and Kerrie Liske wrapped up her collegiate career with a tie for 12th-place finish and a 90.

Katie Gregorich was 20th with a 100 and Stacy Heiling was tied for 23rd with an 104 to wrap up the Pioneer lineup.

Nicole Westcott and Megan Ramp of UW-Whitewater shared medalist honors with an 80 to lead the Warhawks to the team title.
