Pawelski Leads UW-Platteville to Third-Place Finish at Augustana Invitational

senior Tricia Pawelski closed out her Pioneer career with
one of her best performances on Thursday at the Augustana
Invitational at the Emeis Golf Club in Davenport, Iowa. The
Madison, Wisconsin native was the top player in par 3 scoring with
her 1-over par play and second in the field with six birdies en
route to a fifth-place finish with an 89.
Pawelski and the Pioneers finished third overall with a 370 and
just 10 strokes back of team champion, Robert Morris (Ill.). She
closed out the day with a 41 on the back nine. It is the fourth
time in her career that Pawelski finished fifth overall.
Four-strokes behind Pawelski were teammates Kellsey
Welter and Ellyn Subak, who both shot identical rounds of
93 to tie for seventh. Kelsey Lieving shot a 95 to tie for
12th, Kerrie Liske posted a 97 to tie for 18th
and Brittany Rogness recorded a 114 and was 33rd.
