Pioneers lead after first day of own invite
The UW-Platteville golf team grabbed a two-shot lead after the
first day of its own invitational Saturday at the Platteville Golf
and Country Club.
The Pioneers forged a first-day score of 353, two strokes better
than UW-Whitewater. UW-Stevens Point is third with 364, Carroll
fourth at 378, Clarke fifth at 394, and UW-Oshkosh sixth at
397.
Tricia Pawelski shot an 85 for third place overall, one stroke
ahead of teammate Kellsey Welter. Kelsey Lieving tallied 87 for
sixth, while Ellyn Subak shot 95, and Kerrie Liske and Helen Wilson
each shot 99.
