Domask and Stewart honored by WIAC
Platteville, Wis.-Seniors Maiah Domask and Aspyn Stewart were recently honored by the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s women basketball coaches for their play during the 2021-22 season. Domask earned her third first team All-WIAC honor, while Stewart was named to the WIAC All-Sportsmanship team.
Platteville, Wis.-Seniors Maiah Domask and Aspyn Stewart were recently honored by the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's women basketball coaches for their play during the 2021-22 season. Domask earned her fourth first team All-WIAC honor, while Stewart was named to the WIAC All-Sportsmanship team.
Domask is the second player in school history to record 1,000-career points and 1,000-career rebounds. Domask will finish her career third in school history with 1,017 rebounds and 1,462 points.
Domask averaged 16.8 points a game and led the WIAC in rebounding, averaging 11.3 boards a game. Domask recorded a career-high 17-rebounds twice and added three 16-rebound games and one 15-rebound game. She scored a career-high 35 points vs. Luther on Dec. 7 and scored 31 points vs. UW-River Falls on Feb. 12.
Domask recorded 12 double-doubles on the year and finished her career with 45 double-doubles.
Stewart appeared in all 25 games for the Pioneers, starting the final 17. She averaged 4.6 points a game and shot 39.3% from behind the three-point line. Stewart scored a career-high 11 points at UW-Stevens Point.
