Pioneers’ Domask named Academic All-District
PLATTEVILLE, Wis.- Senior Maiah Domask, of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s basketball team, was named to the CoSIDA Division III District 6 Academic All-District Team. This is the first post-season honor in 2021-22 for the Pioneer standout. Domask led the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in rebounding and finished second in scoring. Domask recently eclipsed the 1,000-career rebounding milestone with nine rebounds at UW-Eau Claire on Feb. 16.

This is the first post-season honor in 2021-22 for the Pioneer standout. Domask led the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in rebounding and finished second in scoring. Domask recently eclipsed the 1,000-career rebounding milestone with nine rebounds at UW-Eau Claire on Feb. 16.
Domask, a three-time All-WIAC selection, is the second player in school history to record 1,000-career points and 1,000-career rebounds. Stephanie (Sullivan) Gilmore recorded 1,035 rebounds and is the Pioneer record holder for career points with 1,805. Domask is currently third on the all-time career rebound and scoring list with 1,001 rebounds and 1,458 points.
Domask is joined on the Academic All-District Team by fellow WIAC women's basketball standout Leah Porath of UW-Oshkosh. Domask averaged 17.3 points a game and 11.1 rebounds.
The Waupun native will graduate in May with a degree in psychology and Spanish, with a coaching minor. She plans to pursue a graduate coaching position in college and earn a master's in psychology.
