Pioneers’ Domask named second team All-Central Region
Platteville, Wis.- Senior Maiah Domask of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s basketball team has been named to the d3hoops.com All-Central Region second team. The Waupun, Wisconsin native led the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in rebounding for a second straight year and was second in scoring.

Domask averaged a double-double for the year, scoring 15.3 points a game and pulling down 11.6 boards a game. Domask recorded a double-double in seven of the nine contests in the shortened 2021 season. She scored double digits in each contest with a season high 22 on Feb. 5 vs. UW-Oshkosh. Domask pulled down 15 boards in three separate contests.
Domask became the 11th member of the 1,000-career point club on Feb. 20 when she scored on a lay-up with a little over five minutes left vs. UW-Whitewater. For her career, Domask has scored 1,042 points and pulled down 734 rebounds.
Domask is a three-time All-WIAC first team honoree and was named the 2021 WIAC Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete of the year for women's basketball.
Domask is majoring in psychology and Spanish with a minor in coaching. She plans to use NCAA's fifth year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic and return for the 2021-22 season.
