2019-20: Appeared in all 25 games, making one start…averaged 5.2 points per game and 1.9 boards a game. Shot 70 % from the free throw line. Scored a career and season high 12 points vs Lakeland, dished out a career high four assist twice with most recent vs UW-River Falls. WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll member. Majoring in business administration.

2018-19: Appeared in 22 games as a sophomore. Averaged 10.5 minutes and 3.2 points per a game. WIAC All-Academic

Getting to know Jai

What makes you love UW-Platteville Women's Basketball?

I love the relationships I've made with my teammates on and off the court that help push me to be a better player, and the coaching staff that makes sure we put our all into the game.

What is your nickname? How did you get it and who gave it to you?

A lot of my friends and family back home call me Jai Jai, i guess because my name is so short it just adds a little fun to it.

Who are the role models in your life and why?

My parents, my mom showed me to always put in the work and the result will show and my dad taught me to never stop believing in something I love.

Who or what inspired you to play basketball and why?

My dad inspired me to play basketball, he's a really good coach and i saw the impact he had on a lot of young athletes.

If you were a superhero, what would your name be and what superpower would you have?

My name would be Speedo.

Pre-game rituals or game day superstitions:

Usually before games, i listen to J.Cole in my beats.

Describe yourself in 3 words.

Motivated, dependable, determined

What advice did you get that was the most rewarding?

"Hard work, is easy work"

If you won a million dollars what would you buy?

I would buy a big house for my family and I then would take a trip to Mexico.

What is one of the things you would put on your bucket list?

Travel to 10 different countries.
