Pioneers Drop Home Opener Against Luther
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s basketball team hosted the Luther Norse in its first home basketball game of the season on Tuesday, losing 99-90. The loss drops the Pioneers to 1-3 on the season.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's basketball team hosted the Luther Norse in its first home basketball game of the season on Tuesday, losing 99-90. The loss drops the Pioneers to 1-3 on the season.
The Pioneers were led by Allison Presetegaard who scored 22 points and brought down 10 rebounds. Lexis Macomber, with 13 points, Kassie Buchholz, 12, and Morgan Horstman, 11, also helped lead the Pioneers to their highest offensive output of the season so far. The Norse were led by Anna Madrigal, who scored 22, and Laura Hamilton who scored 18. The win moves the Norse'srecord to 1-3 on the season.
The Pioneers will play at home again on Saturday Nov. 26, against Loras College at 3 p.m. The Loras College Duhawks are 2-2 on the season.
