Duhawks too much for Pioneers
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s basketball team fell to the Loras College Duhawks 74-56 on Saturday in Dubuque, Iowa, falling to 1-4 on the season.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's basketball team fell to the Loras College Duhawks 74-56 on Saturday in Dubuque, Iowa, falling to 1-4 on the season.
Junior forward Elisa Bilderback led the way for the Pioneers with 12 points in the loss.
After leading in the beginning of the first quarter, the Pioneers found themselves down four at 25-29 at the half.
After a big third quarter from the Duhawks, the score 38-53, the Pioneers tried to battle back, with Bilderback scoring ten of her 12 points in the fourth quarter before time ran out with the score ending at 74-56.
The Pioneers return to action on Wednesday, Dec. 2 against Coe College at Williams Fieldhouse at 7 p.m.
