Krajco garners WIAC Player of the Week honors
MADISON, Wis. – UW-Platteville's Alyssa Krajco was named Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week, announced by the league office.
MADISON, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville's Alyssa Krajco was named Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week, announced by the league office.
Krajco garnered the weekly honor after recording 26 points and 16 rebounds, for her third double-double of the year, in the Pioneers', 72-66, victory over UW-Eau Claire on Dec 11. She was 10-for-19 from the field and 6-for-7 from the free throw line, while adding three assists and one steal.
The junior from Richland Center, Wis., has averaged 19.0 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists during the month of December.
Krajco and the Pioneers return to action on Saturday, Dec. 28, when they take on Simpson at the JustAGame Holiday Classic in the Wisconsin Dells at 3:30 p.m.
