Oshkosh, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin – Platteville track and field team began day one of competition at the WIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by UW-Oshkosh. When it comes to track and field, the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) is arguably one of the most competitive conferences in the NCAA DIII. Highlighting the day, senior Johanna Meister ran for second place in the women's mile. The Pioneers will return to the Kolf Sports Center on Saturday with competition beginning at 10 a.m.

Dubuque, Wis. – The Pioneer track and field team competed at the University of Dubuque’s Spartan Invitational. Teams in attendance included Loras, Augustana, Simpson, Cornell, and Luther. With one week to go until the WIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, the Pioneers saw one school record fall and numerous personal best times and marks.

Platteville, Wis. – Williams Fieldhouse hosted the UW-Platteville Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 15. Teams in attendance included Concordia, University of Dubuque, Loras College, Beloit College, Hawkeye Community College, and Clarke University. With two weeks until the WIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, the Pioneers look to execute performances to qualify to the conference championships.

Ripon, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin – Platteville men’s and women’s track and field teams competed at the Red Hawk Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 8. Rounding off the third week of the indoor season, several Pioneers continued to see improvements in their performances.

Platteville, Wis. - The Pioneer track and field team hosted the Pioneer Open on Saturday, Feb. 1 at Williams Fieldhouse. Teams in attendance included Clarke University, University of Dubuque, Edgewood College, Lakeland College, St. Ambrose University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and Wisconsin Lutheran. The Pioneers also traveled four athletes to compete in the pentathlon and heptathlon at the Leonard "Squig" Converse Invitational at UW-Whitewater.

Pioneer track and field opens 2020 season at UW-Stevens Point

Stevens Point, Wis. – Each year the Pioneer track and field team begins the indoor track and field season at the WIAC Triangular. This year the Pioneers traveled to the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point to compete against the Pointers and the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire Blugolds.
