2019: Personal best time in the indoor mile of 5:46.39...Personal best time in the outdoor 1500m of 5:33.14...Qualified to the WIAC Outdoor Championships in the 3,000m steeplechase and ran 12:42.94 (18th place)...Ran a season best time of 25:58.4 at the NCAA DIII Midwest Region Cross Country Championships.

What is your favorite thing about UW-Platteville? My favorite thing is the people I've met through my time here. I have amazing teammates, knowledgeable professors, and supportive friends with similar interests as me.

Why did you choose UW-Platteville? After visitng, I choose UW-Platteville because I loved the cross country team atmosphere, the cozy small town feel, and the variety of opportunities available for students studying science, such as the labs and organizations.

Platteville, Wis. – On Saturday, February 15 the University of Wisconsin – Platteville track and field team honored its seniors at the UW-Platteville Invitational. Little did the Pioneers know how unique of a treasured celebration that day would be. In light of the track and field season coming to an abrupt, early end, we will continue to highlight the senior class throughout the spring semester. In this week’s edition, we honor cross country and track and field athletes Johanna “JoJo” Meister, Caitlyn Ifft, Anna Drazkowski, Haley Daniels, and Claudia De Valk.

Oshkosh, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin – Platteville track and field team began day one of competition at the WIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by UW-Oshkosh. When it comes to track and field, the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) is arguably one of the most competitive conferences in the NCAA DIII. Highlighting the day, senior Johanna Meister ran for second place in the women's mile. The Pioneers will return to the Kolf Sports Center on Saturday with competition beginning at 10 a.m.

Platteville, Wis. – Williams Fieldhouse hosted the UW-Platteville Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 15. Teams in attendance included Concordia, University of Dubuque, Loras College, Beloit College, Hawkeye Community College, and Clarke University. With two weeks until the WIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, the Pioneers look to execute performances to qualify to the conference championships.

Platteville, Wis. - The Pioneer track and field team hosted the Pioneer Open on Saturday, Feb. 1 at Williams Fieldhouse. Teams in attendance included Clarke University, University of Dubuque, Edgewood College, Lakeland College, St. Ambrose University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and Wisconsin Lutheran. The Pioneers also traveled four athletes to compete in the pentathlon and heptathlon at the Leonard "Squig" Converse Invitational at UW-Whitewater.
