15 Pioneers set to compete at NCAA Championships
The UW-Platteville Pioneers are sending the largest contingency in program history to the NCAA Championships. The No. 4 ranked men are sending 11 competitors while the No. 21 ranked women are sending four.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The UW-Platteville Pioneers are sending the largest contingency in program history to the NCAA Championships. The No. 4 ranked men are sending 11 competitors while the No. 21 ranked women are sending four.
The Pioneers head into the championships with three No. 1 ranked athletes. Ian LaMere goes in as the Division III record holder in the 10,000m and has a seed time 52 seconds faster than second place. Dan Arnold leads the nation in the 110m Hurdles and Amber Williams is tied with the best mark in the long jump.
The three day NCAA Championships are hosted by Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. The Pioneers will begin competition Thursday, May 26, at noon with the men's pole vault. Below is a full list of Pioneers competing at the NCAA Championships:
