Williams earns performer of the meet

MADISON, Wis. – Sophomore Amber Williams was named 2015 Outdoor Track and Field Woman Performer of the Meet as voted upon by the league coaches.

At the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference meet, held at UW-La Crosse on May 1, Williams had a first-place leap of 19-7 in the long jump, while finishing second in the triple jump with a leap of 40-7.75 and third in the high jump with a height of 5-6.5.

As of now, Williams is tied for No. 14 in all of Division III for the high jump, holds No. 2 for the triple jump event and sit atop all athletes at No. 1 in the long jump.
