Pioneers' Patrick Klein Named WIAC Men's Track Performer of the Meet

University of Wisconsin-Platteville junior Patrick Klein was recognized on Thursday as the WIAC Men's Track Performer of the Meet for his efforts during the recent WIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Klein won the mile with a time of 4:12.04 and was third in the 800-meter run in 1:55.18. He presently has the fastest time in Division III in the mile and the 13th fastest performance in the 800.

Next, he will join his teammates at the Pointer Qualfiier hosted by UW-Stevens Point on Saturday before the upcoming NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships.
