Pioneers continue with two losses
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville softball team continued its season with two losses at Lincoln Park in Tucson, Arizona against Greenville University and Puget Sound University on March 12. The Panthers won the opener 7-2 and the Loggers won the nightcap 11-3.

TUCSON, Arizona—The University of Wisconsin-Platteville softball team continued its season with two losses at Lincoln Park in Tucson, Arizona against Greenville University and Puget Sound University on March 12. The Panthers won the opener 7-2 and the Loggers won the nightcap 11-3.
Thianna Wegner and Emily Woodford scored the two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Panthers scored one run in the first inning and two runs in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.
Game two against the Loggers ended in a seven-inning game. The Pioneers' Danielle Dieckhoff scored one run in the first inning, and Kayla Kampmeier scored once in the third and the fifth innings. The Loggers scored one run in the fifth inning and 10 runs in the sixth inning.
Coach Andie Varsho took her Pioneers on the field again on Wednesday, March 15 in Tucson, Arizona for the end of the Tucson Invitational.
