MADISON, Wis. -- The 2015 All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Softball Team was announced on Tuesday and three Pioneers made the squad. Lisa Karau was selected to the All-WIAC softball team, junior Carley Rote received honorable mention and sophomore pitcher Jess Butzen made the All-Sportsmanship team.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. -- The Pioneer softball team concluded their 2015 campaign with a doubleheader against the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, taking one of the two games and finishing the season 12-28 overall and 3-13 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. -- Following a series sweep over the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Saturday (10-6, 22-5), the Pioneers softball team dropped two against the Blugolds of UW-Eau Claire on Sunday at Carson Park in Eau Claire.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – After snapping an 11-game losing streak on Monday, the Pioneer softball team fell twice to the Kohawks of Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Tuesday in a doubleheader, 6-2 and 8-2.

Dubuque, Iowa – The Pioneer softball team snapped an 11-game losing streak on Monday with a win, 6-5, following a 4-3 loss, to the University of Dubuque in a doubleheader at the Dubuque baseball field.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville softball team dropped a pair of doubleheaders against UW-River Falls and UW-Stout this past weekend at the UW-Platteville softball complex.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Coming back from an 8-6 spring break performance, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville softball team was unable to garner a victory in two contests against the Beloit College Buccaneers on Wednesday as they lost 4-3 and 9-8, respectively.

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – With a second half record of 5-2, the Pioneer softball team represented well as they concluded their spring break trip to Florida with an 8-6 overall record, and returned home on Saturday.

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Through five days of action in Fort Myers, Fla. the University of Wisconsin-Platteville softball team accumulated 3-4 record with seven games yet to play in the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – In her fourth year at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, head softball coach Lee Negrelli heads into the 2015 season with a solid core of returning players and a handful of fresh new faces.

UW-Platteville softball team will be holding tryouts on September 8-10 at 6 a.m. All interested students must contact head coach Lee Negrelli, negrellil@uwplatt.edu, prior to the start of the 2014-15 school year.
