Pearson Named D3hoops.com Preseason All-American

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Senior Logan Pearson of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville men's basketball team was named to the D3hoops.com Preseason All-America First Team it was announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Pearson was a D3hoops.com First Team All-American last season after averaging 23.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game in the Pioneers run to the Elite Eight. The Kimberly native was also tabbed Region 9 Player of the Year by D3hoops.com along with NABC and WIAC Players of the Year. Pearson broke the UW-Platteville single-season record for total points with 692 and reached the 30-point plateau four times, including a season-high 38 against UW-La Crosse last January.

Pearson and the Pioneers begin their 2024-25 season on Friday, November 8 in Bloomington, Illinois, against ninth-ranked Calvin at the Sikma Invite hosted by Illinois Wesleyan.
