Pearson Named To D3hoops.com Preseason All-America Team

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Senior Logan Pearson of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville men's basketball team was named to the D3hoops.com Preseason All-America Fourth Team it was announced on Tuesday.

Following an impressive junior season, Pearson earned a spot on the 2022-23 All-WIAC team and was recognized by D3hoops.com on the All-Region 9 Second Team. The Kimberly, Wisconsin native was also named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division III District 9 Second Team.

Pearson paced the WIAC in scoring at 20.2 points per game and led the Pioneers with 5.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. The forward posted shooting splits of 48.2/36.2/81.3 and scored 20 or more points in 15 games including a season-high 35 points on 14-of-18 shooting against Concordia Moorhead last December.

The Pioneers begin the 2023-2024 season at home on Friday, November 10 at 7 p.m. when they host Saint Mary's (Minn.) for the annual Gabe Miller Classic presented by the DRA.
