PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Fourteen members of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team earned All-WIAC recognition on Thursday afternoon, highlighted by Kwik Trip Offensive Player of the Year winner Brandt Stare and Kwik Trip George Chryst Coach of the Year Ryan Munz.

MENOMONIE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team put all tiebreaker scenarios aside as the Pioneers defeated UW-Stout 46-38 to clinch the outright WIAC Title and earn the conference’s automatic qualifier to the 2024 NCAA DIII Championships. UW-Platteville will be making its third appearance in the NCAA Playoffs and first since 2016.

Using a big-play offense, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team secured at least a share of the 2024 WIAC football title, defeating UW-Eau Claire 56-14 at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium. It is the 15th title in program history and first since 1980.

The Pioneers held the Falcons scoreless through three quarters and picked up their second consecutive upset against a top-five nationally ranked opponent after last Saturday’s overtime win against then No. 3 UW-La Crosse.
LA CROSSE, Wis. – A trick double pass touchdown in overtime clinched the University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team's stunning 30-27 upset victory over the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (2-2, 0-1 WIAC) on Saturday afternoon. With time dwindling in the Eagles' homecoming game, the Pioneers (4-0, 1-0 WIAC) put up 15 unanswered points in five minutes to tie the game 24-24 with 1:18 left in regulation at Roger Harring Stadium.
