Pioneers set for road contest at UW-La Crosse

The records: UW-Platteville is 4-3 overall and 2-2 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), while UW-La Crosse is also 4-3 overall and 2-2 in the WIAC.
The coaches: Mike Emendorfer is UW-Platteville's all-time winningest coach, compiling a 101-98 record in his 20th season. Emendorfer reached the 100 win mark with the 20-6 triumph over UW-Stevens Point on Sept. 29. He has taken the Pioneers to their only two NCAA III playoff berths in school history, in 2013 and 2016. Emendorfer is the WIAC's active leader in victories. Former Pioneer assistant Mike Schmidt is in his third year leading UW-La Crosse. He guided the Eagles to a 5-5 record his first year and has a career mark of 17-10
The Pioneers: The Pioneers are off to a 4-3 start and look to bounce back after last weekend's 16-40 loss to UW-Eau Claire that was played in weather that ranged from snow, to sun, and to 45 mph wind gusts.
UW-Platteville continues to lead the WIAC in pass offense and total offense averaging 426.1 yards per game. Senior running back Sean Studer leads the WIAC with 94.0 yards averaged per game with sophomore quarterback Colin Schuetz leading the league with 246.3 yards passed per game. Senior receiver Mark Johnson sits in second in the WIAC for averaging 89.3 yards per game.
On the Pioneer defense, sophomore Eric Siedenburgsits third in the league and is averaging 9.7 tackles per game with senior Ben Mogilevsky averaging 8.1 per game. Senior Clayton Becker leads the defense in sacks for the season with 4.5 and 7.5 tackles for losses.
On special teams, senior kicker Michael Pratl is a perfect 29 for 29 on PATs on the year.
The Eagles: UW-La Crosse comes off a 13-24 defeat by 12thranked UW-Oshkosh last Saturday at Titan Stadium. The Eagles are 4-3 for the year and has been receiving votes throughout the season by the d3football.com Top 25 Poll.
Ben Schramski as completed 115 of 223 attempts with six interceptions this season. The Eagles are averaging 382.6 yards per game with 254.7 in the air and 127.9 yards rushing. Cole Spieker is Schramski's primary target with 32 receptions this season for 7 touchdowns and an average of 88.4 yards per game. Austin Mancosky leads UW-La Crosse with 86 carries and averages 51.7 yards per game.
On defense, the Eagles' Elijah McGeehan leads with 23 solos, 35 tackle assists, two sacks, on interceptions, and 4.5 tackles for loss of 16 yards. Rusty Murphy has 5.5 TFLs with 14 solos and 32 tackle assists on the year.
