Pioneers drop two to #18 Warhawks
DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville baseball team hosted University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at University of Dubuque in a pair of losses on Tuesday. The Warhawks won 15-2 and 12-0.

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville baseball team hosted University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at University of Dubuque in a pair of losses on Tuesday. The Warhawks won 15-2 and 12-0.
The Pioneers fell to 12-17 overall (7-9 WIAC) while the #18 Warhawks improved to 22-6 overall (15-1 WIAC).
In the 15-2 loss, the Pioneers were held to seven hits including three extra base hits. Junior Josh Moses went 1-of-2 with a triple, senior Curtis Barsness went 1-of-2 with a double and a run scored and freshman Sam Behm went 1-of-1 with a pinch hit RBI double.
In the 12-0 loss, Warhawk sophomore Matt O'Sullivan threw a seven inning no-hitter to shut down the Pioneers. Sophomore Michael Greco threw 3.1 innings of relief with one earned run and Senior Scottie Gordon threw 2.2 shutout innings in relief.
The Pioneers host Finlandia for a four game series this weekend. Games are Saturday, April 27 at 1 and 4 pm and Sunday, April 28 at 12 and 3 pm.
